      Mike O'Hara is a very knowledgeable man. I respect him, even though he may not always be the nicest guy around. He's worked on BMW's for years and definitely has more knowledge and experience than I do. Some people have bad experiences, some people don't. I've had minimal problems with him. Eric speaks very highly of him.

      Butch's story was this: bought the car, had a noise in the engine. Took it to O'Hara who told him he needed a new engine to the tune of $8,000. He decided that wasn't the route he was going to go. Took it to Pacific who quoted a high price (not anywhere near O'Hara's, but still expensive.) Finally, he took it to a friend who told him he was missing a valve keeper. Fixed and the car runs like a champ!

      Anyway, it's kind of hit and miss. Like I said, some people have bad experiences and some don't.
