So i go to pull the selector rod outta the ix to put it in the eta and number one I think the ix has a aftermarket short shift kit in it, and everything looks different. And Number two the battery is completely dead in the eta and the nearest hill is a block an a half a way... man I just can't win can I....

haha nice one. and a short shift kit shouldnt have anything to do with the selector rod. matt b already looked up the part number so it should just swap out. unless his resources are janky.
