No Matt, I didn't buy new shocks mounts. It all depends on how worn they are right? If they need replacing I'll go buy some. Wheres a good place where I can buy tie rods and control arms?
Id buy the arms and rods from blunt, as for the shock mounts, i recommend getting the IE ones. The rear suspension on e30's are weeeeak

I think you can use Z3 ones as an upgrade/fix?

The fronts have a bearing in them so id get those from blunt also, once you put in lowering springs servicing your front suspension becomes much easier because my H&R race try to fall out when i jack the car up.

      for people on a budget.

FCP groton, for the e30 connoisseur like me and VanWestervelt. Blunt sell CA's for about 100$ each and Tierods for 55.50 If I remember correctly.

Rear mounts, are about 20$ or so...fronts 50-100$ pair...

IMO If you are on a budget than you shouldn't put anything that says race or sport on your car ;)

Not tryin to be a dick, I am just saying

Why would he buy control arms? Why not just bushings?

If you want to do springs/shocks and all the front end shit, that would take a long time and might just be worth it to do Saturday, rather than be up real late on Friday night.

Price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. I repeat: price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. That's Vagiclean. We've got a customer down here with a full-on fallopian fungus. I'm baking a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough.

If you need some used but great condition control arms for cheap (~$75) let me know. Ball joints are all good.
                            Need a part? PM me.

well curt and jeff always told me, "While you are in there"

your boots will likely rip on removal...and you do have tools to serperate the tie rods and arms from struts right?

I didn't mean it like that homie. I just meant that your car does need control arms and would probably be a good idea to do it while you got the car and tools handy.
