Anyone in the Seattle area familiar with verts?

I'm having trouble with my originally powered convertible top. This is my first vert so I don't really know anything about them, but basically the electric motor is broken/not there, so whenever I try and close it by hand it won't fold up low enough for me to close the cover and latch it.

I just want someone who knows whats up to look at it and tell me whats goin on and what to do. I can provide beer or maybe random parts you may need.

Like you get it down but theres still about 3-4 inches of it sticking up?
If so, thats what ours does as well. From what I understand there is also a motor that pulls/holds the folded top down into place. I haven't researched how to fix that though :/ Good luck! If you find a solution, please Share the wealth! Lol

Yea that's exactly what's happening. I wouldn't mind a manual top if I knew how to make it like a normal manual top.

I dont know if your manual is different but it would only really tell you how to put the top down without the top motor, but it won't stay completely shut into the top storage area. And as far as I know thats the part hes having difficulties with.
