Isn't it easier to just sell the burgandy seats and then buy a set of blacks? I don't know who would trade black seats for burgandy. John Parker has a nice set of blacks for sale in Gig Harbor.

My neighbor uses this car as a daily and really just wants to trade to try and keep making his 100mi round trip commute.

You are wrong.
Same everything as regular non-m sport seats or vert seats with the the exception of the tilt levers being higher and the fact that vert seats don't recline as much.

Not all M3 seats are heated either.

my vert seats recline all the way back to the rear seat....
