Steering rack question

Does anyone in the local PDX metro area rebuild racks? I called some places and they all want to sell me a new one...

Id rather spend 100$ vs 200-250$ on a new one if possible...


Id go with an e36 rack , but I dont want to modify my firewall

Why not just modify the firewall when you do your swap? (or is it done already?)

E36 rack is wellllll worth it...unfortunately I need a rebuild mine is collecting tons of fluid in the boots.
