The back of his business card reads as follows:

To Law Enforcement:
1. I have provided you with my drivers license,registration,and proof of insurance;
2. I will not be answering any questions or making any statements;
3.I will not be volunteering to perform field sobriety tests,or blowing in a PBT; but I will blow in a BAC machine at the station if you have probable cause to arrest me.
4. If I am not under arrest, I wish to leave, otherwise I wish to speak to Mr. Mucklestone immediately.

He has gotten me out of 3 different speeding tickets. Even one in a construction zone. (complete bullshit ticket)

Here's an idea, man up and take responsibility for your actions instead of weaseling out of it like a coward?

As a semi-responsible adult I can appreciate the wisdom of your post, but I've seen as much or more speeding and other truly hazardous shenanigans (blown stoplights/four lane U-turns/no-signal turns) on the part of local law enforcement in my small town than I ever see from drivers otherwise.

So are they more "qualified" to do so? Or are they just entitled to do so? I think it's cowardly to take unnecessary risks because you know nobody's going to call you on it.

Hey brother Matthew. The Z is doing well. I've been taking advantage of every dry (at least non raining) moment to throw the top back. I recently picked up a 2.8 Z3 AC Schnitzer exhaust (slightly used) and an e46 Remus (brand new, never used) exhaust and thought about mocking one or both up. I most likely will probably just sell both. That's the only exciting news in my neck of the woods. How about you? I suppose this should be carried to PM's, so I'm looking forward to it.

I don't think this ticket alone will put me into SR22, but I own 4 cars man. I can't afford to keep paying insurance on all of them when stupid shit like this comes along. Anyways for this one I was trying to get into the right lane on the freeway and there was traffic. So I opted to speed up and move over. That's when I was plucked from the group.

Um, you're the one who CAUSED this "Stupid shit" since you were speeding. It could have easily been avoided if you weren't speeding.

Use cruise control. It's your best friend.

The very worst one was when I had just gotten my brand new Honda Civic and didn't know I was going over 100mph (I used to drive and 87 camry which was a piece of shit) at 4am in the morning at a 55mph. The freeway was dark and nobody else was there but me. I didn't stop when the cops tried to pull me over because it was too dark and I didn't know if that was a real cop pulling me over. When I finally stopped by a well lit gas station, there were 3 patrol cars and all guns drawn out. They asked me to get out of the car with my hands up and kneel on the ground which i did and i asked them why there were cuffing me and I said i didn't know. He asked me why I didn't stop and I said it was too dark and I didn't think it was safe for me to stop because I didn't know if they were real cops or not. They ended up letting me go with a speeding ticket and I faced him in court.

It is up to them to prove that you were speeding beyond a reasonable doubt. So I basically questioned him (when given the opportunity by the judge). The judge asked him how he determined my speed and how does he know his speedometer was working. (He paced me for 8 miles) Then my turn. I asked when was the last time his patrol car and speedometer was serviced and "calibrated". He said, "I am sure the dept. does this service maintenance on the patrol cars." I asked, "Do you have the documentation to prove that?" He said, "Your honor, if the defendant wanted these paperwork she should've requested them prior from the hearing." I said, "you're honor, it is not up to the defendant to provide incriminating evidence against myself. It is not my problem if the prosecution came in court unprepared and wasted your time. I move for dismissal." Judge: "Case dismissed.

I don't wanna be a dick but if you're going to take a risk you better be able to deal with the consequences of your actions. Seeing as SR22 is in the cards this isn't anything new for you then. Perhaps a bicycle should be your next mode of transportation, and remember that driving is a privilege not a right. When you took your driving test that proved you are able to operate your vehicle within the set laws and regulations. If that is too much to handle, please get off the roads.
