Stock 160k 95 525it I had to replace the water pump when I got it and chase a wiring bug. other than that its been great. I even have a tow hitch on it.:) it is now my DD and No its not as much fun as the E30, it is a lot more practical for my needs.

On the contrary, a Passat 1.8t wagon could run circles around an M50 Touring with just a GIAC chip and get better millage too BUT the Touring wins with style and is more unique.

Get an e30 man. Everyone hates on the autotragics..but I drive an auto ETA and it's still way fun. More fun then an E34 would be.

Im looking at it this way, wagons are rare. Good ones are VERY rare under $2000. E30s I can get all day long. This wagon, if I get tired of it I can sell for more than what I paid all day long to an enthusiast.

The wagon will haul all of my stuff, and it can have a totally bitchin stereo. Engine could get a turbo, or superchrager one day. It does have an m50!
