    New price 2K obo

I have a 1987 bmw 325is with about 170k on it. It is alpine white with cardinal red interior.
    5 speed
    2.5 liter straight six
    power windows and locks
    lowered on eibach prokit springs
    eibach sway bars
    bilstien struts and shocks
    remus exhaust
    good leather
    new radiator
    timing belt changed at 162k
drilled and slotted rotors at 160k
    tires in april 2010
    few other new things
    Transmission mounts May 2011
    Cat done june 2011

It is reliable. it has a pretty strong power band for being a 24 year old stock car. the reason im selling is casue just wasnt a nicer newer car that will keep me interested for the next 5-10 years. $2000 obo.

You should check your spelling and grammar in your ad...
"the reason im selling is casue just wasnt a nicer newer car that will keep me interested for the next 5-10 years."

Weird that you are looking for an e60. Those are expensive and not nearly as much fun to drive as e30's. My boyfriend has an '06 550i, 360hp, and my car is always the one we drive. It's just way more fun. His car has the power, but not the size and handling.]

I think an older car like the e30 will be a much better "long term investment" than an e46 or e60. The e30 will turn into a "classic" and gain more value in years to come rather than an e46 or e60. The e30 is already a classic BMW. :)

Investment: When you make an investment you are doing so under the assumption that you will receive a return on the money that you put into the investment. A home appreciates in value over time; stocks pay a dividend as well as appreciate in value. These things are investments because they make money for you over time. They help to increase your wealth.
Your car is not an asset. It depreciates over time. Thus, it is not an investment.

i.e. it's a necessary but somewhat unpleasant chore and they want something to make the task a little easier and insulate them from the process."

Price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. I repeat: price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. That's Vagiclean. We've got a customer down here with a full-on fallopian fungus. I'm baking a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough.

Sorry for the bad spelling and grammar, it's finals week and Im tired
Perhaps invest was the wrong word. I know here the e30 is God's Chariot but it's really not my style anymore. It handles great and all, but does not have the space and comfort and power that newer BMW's do that's all.

But, Are you really looking for an e60? :-?

An e39, e46, and M3 are all going to require more than a "little tinkering". You better learn how! An e60 wouldn't require much tinkering, but it'd be fuckin' expensive for not a very fun car to drive. It's like a boat. Minus-well get the 7-series. e39 would be way nicer and e60.

By the way, what the heck school do you go to where it's already finals week?

Im considering anything that fall into my budget 10-17k depending on the car. 17 seems to be the bottom end of e60. it isnt my first choice as they tend to have high miles at that price point.
I go to WSU here in vancouver.
