Long story....by some freak accident a chunk of road debris came up in my front right wheel and well the other night on I5 and came back out. I heard it and seen it fly out in my rear view but have no idea what it was. a few minutes later getting off the freeway when I hit the brakes, I heard a huge grinding noise for a brief second followed by my wheel locking up and I cam to a halt. luckily i was going slow when it happened. The caliper carrier was broken into 2 pieces and the caliper was wedged into the ID of the rim. It punctured through and I need my rim fixed. A quick weld should be sufficient..
