27 PRO3 cars at Pacific Raceways this weekend

A large grid of 27 (and counting) PRO3 cars will be running this weekend at Pacific Raceways in Kent.

PRO3 run in Group 1 on both Saturday and Sunday. Races are Sunday afternoon.

Many of the PRO3 cars also run in the EIP class in Group 5.

10 PRO3 cars in the novice race today. Great racing all through the field. Of note, Ryan Hieronymus laid down a lap of of 1:38.4x while dicing through the field then to back it up the next lap was a 1:38.2x. Great driving Ryan and all of the PRO3 folks in the novice race.

In the main PRO3 field of 27 cars, afternoon qualifying was on a dry track with cool weather. Perfect for fast times. So fast that my "used to be respectable" time of 1:41.0x put me just 15th on the grid. Tough crowd, LOL.

Wow. So much fun. Got to check this out today. Never been in the same place with so many E30's. Nice to see that a lot of the guy's were older than me also; There's still time...

I know SPM is a different class but in the second race when ya'll were together I saw at least 2 e46's that couldn't get by the pro3 guy's.

Anyway, good times, look forward to checking it out again.
