    Hello,

I have a 1987 BMW 325 I would like to sell. It's a 2 door car with power windows, a sun roof (or moon roof I'm not sure of the difference), 5 speed. It has issues so I'm asking 1000 O.B.O. There are a few issues: 1) The driveline is going out, I found a place off of Oak Grove called Palmers that was willing to take it out, have it rebuilt and put it back in for 700.00. 2) The tags are expired, I'm not sure if it will pass or not, but I found a Catalytic converter for 600.00. (It's a BMW, so yeah.) 3) The Odometer doesn't roll, its stuck at 180+ thousand miles. I would say it has about 200K on it now. 4) The heater blower motor burned out, I pulled it out, but haven't had the money to replace it. I found it online for a 170.00. At napa. 5) The power windows switch has a loose wire, I've found that in order to get the window to roll up sometimes you just have to push on the wire. It's located next to the shifter. 6) You may have to out the carpeting, pressure wash it and let it dry. I recently found out that its been leaking from the trunk to the front. 7) It will need an oil change, the radiator will need to be flushed and most likely new spark plugs and wires. I only was able to drive it for 6 months before it started to break down. 8) The tail lights have an issue where you have to push the check button and then the brakes, sometimes that doesn't work, but I personally think the best thing to do with them would be replace them, but again money. 9) The battery needs to be replaced. 10) The seats just need to be replaced. 11) The paint is starting to fade.

The good news is this... the tires are new as with the front u joints. All in all probably about 500 dollars worth of work. The brights work now. (there was nothing wrong with them except they didn't have the fuses in the right space.) The fog lights work.

It has been sitting for a while now, I would say a year and a half, I just haven't had the money to fix the driveline so I had to park it. It's a fun car to drive, but I just can't afford to fix it, this is best for a person who knows how to fix cars, or has money to have them fixed.

I'm not expecting any responses really, but I figured this was worth a try. I will send pics if you want.

I think you are right about have to cost less than $500, it does sound like more fun than you could shake your weenie at, unfortunately I couldn't justify the cost of it all lol. I am sure everyone else here feels the same way

Yeah, it's definitely a big project and I just can't justify it right now. Would be hella fun though. Lol.
