    having trouble changing front brakes

alright so changing brakes isnt nothing new to me, however this problem is. my front discs are vented and have girling calipers, im in the process of replacing the pads and rotors using pagid brake pads brembo rotors the fucking problem im having is the they wont go on. The brake pads are hella thick and that combined with the thickness of the rotor exceeds the space available for the caliper wtf is going on. Any suggestions anyone btw im using all stock replacement stuff.

You are remembering to compress the brake caliper pistons right? If you have not then they are adjusted for the worn down pads and will not allow enough room for the new pads to fit over the brake disc.
    Pictures?

^ I was thinking the same thing. You have to pust the piston all the way back to install them, even then, it is a tight fit. They make a tool for this or you can use a C clamp or a large channel lock type set of pliers.

they are compressed as far back as the go. i also have spare calipers that i have tried them on and the pads combined with the rotors are to thick to fit. i just replaced my rears with no problems

verify the part numbers on the boxes from your order, and the part number from part to box. I had a similar situ YEARS ago, and I got some random vw rotors in an e30 box (brembo too). GL

the rotors and pads are matching the pnsi think the problem is with the pads that they are to thick im having a 1/8 or so problem with clearance.

and are pads different for ate and girling?

piston all the way compressed, take your brake fluid cap off to, so it can rise etc, not usre if it matters...when i compressed my piston, i thought i was done, but it went down more, and i slid 1 pad in 1 side, and did the other side
