I made it back finally kept the heater on full and putt all the way home.

Yes, a rocker retainer slipped.

We pitched that one and grabbed one of the 12 left over, all were nice and tight. I retorqued the valve nuts, and Stephen has a feeler gauge and wrench.

The thing sounds so bad ass, he says it rips to 100 in 3rd, and pulls strong to redline in 3rd and 4th.

He is just now headed home, all gauges working, A/C too.

i havent hit redline in 4th, i need a long stretch of highway and a big wallet to pay that ticket. Havent in 3rd either, hit 110 and shifted without hitting the revlimiter. lol

It sounds nice, thanks guy for the help, didnt feel like over heating all the way home. Managed to never go past normal temp after i left. Defiantly alot off coolant on my floor tho :)
