    Local 325es FS

There's a running/driving bronzit 325es for sale at a 97470 auto recycler that I'm going to check out tomorrow in case anyone's interested.

Lmk if you'd like any details or pics of the car- looks like it'd make a nice track rat or daily beater. It's got decent beige sport seats, stiff lowering springs, and some kind of older 16" ASA's on it. They're asking $900 but knowing these guys they'd likely take $500 or maybe less.

So I actually drove it this morning, here's the deal:

          1. Started right up with a jump, no smoke.
          2. A little noise from the engine bay, might be belt noise or maybe top end. Couldn't tell because the..
          3. Hood latch cable is broken.
          4. Electric sunroof works great, side windows wouldn't respond to switch input at all.
          5. Runs out nice at speed but Mtech wheel is bolted on 90 degrees clockwise from straight up.
          6. Engine pulls like an eta, trans. and clutch feel/sound good but shift linkage is SHOT.
          7. Power steering pump is noisy as hell, may need more fluid but #3.
          8. The wheels are 16" ASA, all need tires.
          9. Brake pedal feel is good but performance seems weak- rusty/glazed rotors? idk.
          10. Interior doesn't stink and would be acceptable with some cleaning.
          11. Trunk contents scream "tweaker!"

Forgot to test wipers and blower motor. Oh, and there's a running Alpine eta with destroyed front right suspension down below as well, shell's pretty beat but very clean and complete under the hood.

Nice. That thing would be a great LeMons project!
