    Cheapest Seattle Alignment?

Need a cheap alignment as I just did front end parts on the e34, but not all of them, so I need a quickie alignment to hold me over until I have time to do the shocks/springs at which time I'll get a really good alignment done.

Any suggestions in the Seattle area?

If you are willing to drive, go see Vics Renton Frame and Alignment.

If you go once, you will never go anywhere else again. The guy is a genius.

do it yourself. Get some string, and couple tape measures. not that hard to rough in an alignment. If you have a plumb-bob (or just some sort of lead weight) you could get pretty damn close.

Good point, I found a great DIY article on Youtube, I'll DIY it for now. Curious to see how accurate I can get with DIY.

I live right next to there (literally) and went in for an alignment once and the place is a little less than friendly (at least when I went in). But I know my grandpa used to go there and with your rec I'll give it a try when I need another alignment.

I made the mistake of using Firestone off Burnside on my Focus. I was rockin' coilovers at the time, and so they needed to compensate for the ride height. The first time, they crossthreaded the tie rod ends. Then when I brought it back in for alignment, they said the tie rods needed to be replaced since someone crossthreaded them. Mind you, it had only been 3 months since I had been there, but they refused to admit fault, and then said my lifetime alignment was void since the car was lowered (which it had been when they sold me on it the first time!)

Screw Firestone, their tires are crap anyways!!

My old Chevy II's I would take to The Line-Up Shops when I didn't do it myself..
