    Paint in the Puyallup/Tacoma Area

Anybody have any good suggestions for a place to get my e30 painted? Either a business or somebody who does good side jobs? The only places I have near me are a shop that quoted $5k and a Maaco. So hopefully you guys know some place or some one that can do better. Thanks!

Quality work comes at a cost. Contact Jparkr here. The shop doing my engine bay costs ~$900. But you get what you pay for. Paint is one of the things you only want to do once.

Like Court said, contact Jparkr on r3v. His car and James Criv's where both painted at the place Court is talking about. Very good guys.

Do NOT take your car to MAACO! Paint and body work quality is typically poor as heck!

^ At Maaco you get what you pay for. If you do your own prep work and pay little bit more than there one step paint it turns out ok IMO.

The place I'd recommend if Paramount Center in Fife. There pretty stand up guys. They've done a few PRO3 cars and some of TC Motorsports stuff. My brother in-law runs the paint booth there. You going to spend some extra coin there but, its worth it. There work is fucking FLAWLESS. My shop has done some sub-contracting for them. I've seen some cars go in there that look like they should be totaled and they come out looking brand new.

Like I said in the PM. Paramount are the ones who did my car. But the whole team, save the owner who painted my car personally, Mike, have moved over here to their sister shop, Eastbay collision in Gig Harbor.

Macco is ok at painting. Its the body work and finish you don't want them to do. But they do have a tendency to paint in a dirty environment leaving lots of nips, dirt to wet sand out afterwards.

Chris, shoot me a text, you have a BFB card to finish here man! and btw, Criv's car was painted by his god father Mic, RIP. not paramount/eastbay.

Ohhhh. I could have sworn he mentioned Eastbay painting it.

Who said I wasn't down for 8am drinking! I just don't think my clients would be happy with the work I would produce.
