I'm putting my car out there. I'd like to start off by saying PM me any questions and if you're interested I'd recommend coming to look at the car and we can go through everything you want to know.
The car started life as an '87es with roughly 212xxx when I got it three years ago. I'd say roughly 230xxx on the shell now, the car has been parked for well over a year with the swaps considered. It's been through an m52 and now has an s50 inside, here is what I can think of that has been done to the car:
-front end suspension bushings are fresh with m3 cabs
-z3 short shifter
-3.73 lsd
-s50 with rebuilt head (~2000 miles) and ~130xxx on the block
-new clutch (5000 miles on it at most) with m20b25 'i' flywheel
-ground control coils welded to stock perch location (650r/450f)
-koni shocks
-e36 steering rack
-Falken ziex 912 195/65/14 with excellent life left
-Pioneer head unit with iPod/usb hookup, wiring for sub (from po), premium speakers and alpine speakers
During the swap I refreshed the power steering res, e36 radiator, many new hoses, etc.
The shell is not in the best condition with dents and scratches and the interior does not have carpet or rear door panels. The seats are sport seats in poor condition. If I were to keep the car I would refresh the brake system, get new front seats, and do the rear subframe bushings.
I'm asking 4500 obo - basically less than what the parts/swap would add up to plus an inexpensive shell, the benefit being you have a running driving car that is a blast to drive. Would be incredible to put wheels/seats and make a track car, or take all of the parts and put into your clean shell.
I do not need to sell this car, and most of me does not want to. However, I have put so much time into this car over the past three years and I've come to learn that I've built a) more car than I need and b) that I have some other priorities.

(tried to highlight the quarter panel damage)
Some more just because:
