    Caution on Bellevue Way!

I just smashed my oil pan on Bellevue Way heading toward Kirkland! The road is ripped up and I hit a water drain plug. DO NOT DRIVE THIS STREET IF YOU ARE LOWERED!!!

Oh shit man. My car is just barely lowered, mostly stock and I've been dodging down that road like mad. It's scary even though I know my pan won't hit. Sorry to hear that.

i believe you can call or write to city about that, and they will pay for your damage...
for example if you go in a put hole and your tire goes bad, city will cover the bill... [ suppose to]

Seems like everybody is smashin their oil pan. Scraped mine on a speed-bump a week ago and had to pay for a brand new one because it couldnt be fixed.

I even tried to pull off and detour but of course dead end. Pulled back on and now parts of my pan will become filler for the road.

Yeah the site super witnessed it happen. He suggest I call the city. Might not even be worth my time to deal with claims. Thankfully the pump is fine... Just the pan itself smashed. Shit happens right?

I'm not sure if they city will reimburse seeing as how your car is modified. I'm not saying it doesn't suck but shit does happen.

Ha. That's basically what the towtruck driver said. He didn't understand why kids think it's so cool. At the moment neither did I.

You are very Lucky if yours does. My wife smacked a pot hole in her A3 a couple months back and it took out two tires and chucked the rim. City of Portland basically told her to "go phuck yerself.." We took all sorts of photo's just before they filled the pothole the week after our report was filed.
