R3V Port Townsend Cruise October 1st

Hey everybody, so I discussed in the annual Achtung thread having a drive for us E30'ers. Well lets get the plans rolling!

I personally LOVE to go to Bergstrom's Autos in Port Townsend, as well just chill downtown and grab a slice of yummy pizza and a Jones soda.

Here is the plan.. by yours truly. lol

10 AM there is a ferry leaving Seattle... which puts most of you in Bremerton at 11 AM. If you want to drive around, no big deal.. of course

We will meet at the QFC on the West side of town, it is about two blocks from Highway 3. I have attached a picture of the route to QFC for reference.

We will leave QFC for Port Townsend at around 11:30 AM.. sound good? If you need to gas up etc. there is a shell right on the way there and atleast two stations on the way to PT.

We will drive to the hood canal bridge and then TAKE THE FIRST RIGHT off the bridge to roll through Port Gamble. This route is much more scenic, and there is an amazing driving road (Swansonville Road <--- google it to see) to get you back to the main highway into Port Townsend.

Once there we can all park in this one bank's parking lot downtown.. or find something. Any ideas for this..?

Downtown I know I will be going in Bergstrom's for sure, likely will spend an hour in there. It is so cool. Bring money for this... you will want it. Also I will be getting some of the best pizza downtown and a Jones Soda to accompany it. Any ideas from you guys on what to do?

For Fort Flagler we could all go to and take some pictures, etc. around 4 or 5.

Any ideas, comments, suggestions I appreciate.

Yeah Seattle ferry. Lots of places we could meet in Bremerton.. like the Lowes Parking lot, etc.

id be down, need to set a time so i can drive down from anacortes. Where is the bremerton ferry dock in seattle? Besides the clinton run i've only taken the san juan ferry

It's the main terminal. Are you familiar with Pioneer Square? It's just down on the Pier by Pioneer Square.

Fuuu. I'm going to be out of town that day. :| I'd have to hitch a ride anyways if I did want to go though. :/

Well for those of you up North, we can meet in PT... wouldnt be that hard. I say Bremerton though because it is closest to the Seattle guys.

For all my Seattle Heads, I live about 5 min away from Northgate mall. It'd be really nice if we could all meet up at Northgate (considering you live north of Seattle) and convoy to the ferry. I have visions of a dope e30 ferry shot from the open area of the boat or whatever.

Plus that'll keep us together for the long ride across the water.
