Ya I cut it out a few years ago. Tried to use plastic but it kept breaking.

For the love of the BMW gods, someone please sell me a front right lachssilber corner panel!

Nice photos, Sparkle'! I believe I've picked up on your real name by now, but since I didn't introduce myself at the BBQ, we'll stick to internet names :)

^ Thank you! :) You can call me Stacey lol Dont worry about it.

What did you do to your fender anyways? What year is your car? I can keep an eye out up here! I know there is an E30 at the local junkyard I can go try and see if the fender is straight! :)

A lady in a Nissan Pathfinder pulled out in front of me. No place to dodge to, so I just hit the brakes and prayed. I managed to bring it down to a 3-5mph collision. My bumper slipped under the raised body, and her door wrecked everything else.

Insurance totaled it. I bought it back and now it's my ugly but extremely fun track rat :)

I certainly can't! At this point I have literal blood in this thing, tears in a few places, and sweat everywhere. I also have about a grand and 50 odd hours into stupid maintenance stuff (sub frame bushings, anyone?). Right now she is extremely ugly, but very safe and strong. She is basically a roll cage and a few odd things here and there away from being a PRO-3 car. So there isn't any way I'd be able to get enough money to compensate for the material loss, not to mention the emotional damage :)

But, I also don't have the money to take her to where I want here now, or in the next couple years. So if life's priorities change before I get the money, I'll look you up.

Right now I DD an E46. I have no doubt the E46 is faster, but the E30 is WAAAAY more fun to drive. Like, I can rip out my bias and get brainwashed into liking newer cars, and I'd still think the E30 was more fun. So for now I'm hanging onto her :)

Abe, you may officially consider your thread jacked.

I definitely agree with you there. That's how I feel about my car. Nobody would ever give me what, so I'll just keep it!

My Dad had an E39 530...it was a nicer car to drive since it was quieter, easier, etc, but it sure didn't feel as responsive or as real as my E30. Same with the E60, except that's probably 5x worse.

Anyway, good luck with your rebuild and let me know if I've got anything you need for your rebuild!
