WTB: 5spd Tranny

My tranny is digging itself its own grave right now. Thought the driveline was out so I replaced it with a Portland Driveline one, upon further inspection, its clear that the tranny is going out.

I'm looking for a good used tranny, I need a late model one for my 88 325is. If anyone is parting out a running car, id love to test it before its pulled out, willing to drive quite a ways for a nice tranny. Let me know what you have, thanks.

Good luck with this. I looked for 2 weeks to no avail. I was even willing to drive as far as Bellingham or Medford for one.

All new. The noise seems to be coming from the rear-almost like there is too much lash in the diff.

Meh, Its feels pretty notchy(has some sort of SSK) and has unknown miles. Its behind an m50 and I need to do a clutch so Id like to switch to a nicer trans while things are apart. I'm not actually expecting anyone to trade me, Just throwing it out there.
