This certainly must be Oktoberfest if they're doing the keg tapping at 1pm... Lol
I think Erik has it right on leaving at this time. I am down either way.

Also, the guy on the phone said State Patrol is out IN FORCE with drunk driving. Just an FYI for people who are driving in or driving home, they are pulling TONS of people over for DUI's (11 stater's patrolling who are picking people off coming out of town). All this per the guy working at Leavenworth shuttle.

OdSkE30 you have PM. I am driving it over so you can go for a ride to check it out.
Who are the people that you reserved a seat for? I haven't reserved a seat yet and lost from everything that ya'll are talkin about. All I know is that some of us are meetin in Redmond at 9am and then headed up north to meet with the rest of you and then heading over. Me, Joe, Paolo and others are all campin in Joes big tent. What i need to know is the shuttle situation?

Ok just got the word from the shuttle. I had about 7 spots reserved. a few still remain.
Shuttle is leaving at 12pm noon from the campground (so we can make the 1pm keg tapping). Shuttle will leave leavenworth at midnight.

I do not know if everyone has or will have a seat. Please call the shuttle and see if you can get on the 12pm noon bus and please pay for your seat.

          Thank you!

All you need to do is call the shuttle and pay for a seat. Looks like the time leaving now is 12 to make the 1pm keg tapping. He just told them there was a group of 7 and that we will all individually call and pay for a spot. Link is in first post to the shuttle website.

I feel like were going to feel rushed the whole time just to watch someone put a tap on a keg. We got all day fellas, no sense in making things difficult. Another thing to keep in mind is that once were there, were there all day. That why I was thinking Of getting to the campgrounds getting shit squared away, eat something, drink a little, and then head down there around 3 or 4. I just think were going to get too early. Thats just my two cents.

I could be wrong, but don't they tap a keg every couple of hours or something like that? I thought I remember a friend of mine saying something along those lines...

I wanna cruise over in the caravan as well, I vote for the later departure. Just my input.

You should really reconsider this and see if you can get a later time. This whole 1 p.m. keg tapping business is kind of ridiculous. I don't know about you but, I'm not going to want stay there for 12 hours. Its kind of messing the whole day up. Now were all having to leave way earlier and rush. The beer is going to be all day and to be there at 1 just watch someone tap a keg is dumb. I'm just trying to keep the cruise up there enjoyable and fun. If the general consensus is meeting at 9 a.m to cruise. I'm not going to be able make the cruise. I choose 11 a.m. as a meeting time for a purpose. I serious suggest you can change the shuttle time for like 4 or 5. I don't know about you but, I'd like chill once we get to the campgrounds. Ya know get shit squared away, get tents set up, bullshit about cars, grill something, drink there for awhile.

I'm inclined to agree... Plus it would be fun to get some group pics of the people/cars. I don't care about missing a keg tapping.

+1 for 4 or 5 pm. Don't want to start losing some of us due to an early start time.

I agree with you guys up here. If we can't get the shuttle time changed maybe we can fill up some four doors? I'm not sure.

I was thinking the same thing as Larsen. No way I'm going to want to set my tent up and shit at 2am drunk and in the dark. That's about joint:thirty. ; P

I love beer but my 150lb frame can only take so much. 11 hours is overkill! Not trying to step on anyone's toes, just making sure this is well thought out. This is in two days!!

I am in for 4-5 getting into town. There is no way I can go for 11+ hours plus getting back super late (esp if I have been drinking all day). I think leaving at 4 would be best and getting back around 10/11?
