Yep! $100 for the magnaflow and then tax comes into play and I had my own tip. It's awesome! The other muffer place in Camas was gonna charge me $152!

Yes it is legal, and a couple have changed to it. Other's are looking to do it as well. The key is to run some resonators just after the downpipe. There was a lengthy discussion earlier this year about it, the biggest concern some had was the routing near the tank, but it should not be an issue if you pass it down the passenger side.

I didn't know that. What are the advantages to doing it? Don't you love how this went from someone showing off his new exhaust to Pro3?

The only advantage is perhaps a shorter exhaust length, and easier to run large diameter duals. If you can keep from doing a hard 90 to the side (maybe a series of 45's or 30's down the length) it could be an advantage. The only reason I had tossed around the idea is I never been a fan of running the exhaust so close to fuel tank as the stock set up is, even with the heat shield.

Reality, I will probably just end up with the stock exit since I could probably find a used exhaust from someone for cheaper than a new dual side exit; unless I fabbed it myself.

            sorry for the thread hijack.
