Will do. I did see the sport racer in the parked about 4:30 so he was out. Im guessing the 911, or if he had a problem, Erik Krause's 951.

HAHA, looks like Bob Mearns had to add some Hella's for racing in the dark!

I know there was some discussion on the Pro-3 email list, and I think it may have been one of the Pro-3's in Second or Third. I will ask, and see if any of the drivers know.

That sport racer was too slow anyway

The 951 came in first or second last year didn't it? Any idea if the E46 M3 (Green and White) made it to the end of the race this year? Last year they dropped out at like hour 7 or 8 of 12.

Please do let us know what you find. The Pro-3 guys were naturally not the fastest, but they also weren't in the pits (the first 3 hours at least) nearly as much as some of the others :)

Real slow. Lol. The grass car was fast but was in for a new halfshaft or something earlier so he was down some laps. The black eta was sure driving in fuel saving mode-only one stop for fuel i assume.

              From Olsen:

The Winner's Circle at the end of the 8-Hours looked like an ad for BMW. Of the 9 podium spots, 6 were occupied by BMWs; 4 of those were e30s!

Overall win and E1: Bullett Racing Porsche with drivers Blaylock, Joe White, Dan Rogers
(Not sure if JVL and his monster e46 M3 finished or were DNF. He drove with Ross Bently, but retired early)
E1 Second: Jim McAddie and Lowe Group Racing...I think...

              E2 Win: Hugh Golden
E2 Second: Go Enzo!: York 1.5 (Kevin and Liam), York 2 (Evan), Tom "What Rules?" Olsson, Rob Dunn

L2 Win: Team DCR Lives! Beuning, Miller, Greif, Spornitz, Mearns, Basiliko, and Olsen
L2 Second: Grip Racing; O'Keefe, Vein, Colborn, Hurley

L1 Win: Team Bloising Saddles; Eric Blois...help me with the names!

              L3: Misc. Miatae

Outside of the overall win and L2 class, I'm a bit sketchy on my info. Feel free to make corrections/additions where applicable. For example, I know Helton's M Coupe placed, just not sure where and what class.

We were too busy refilling the champaign glasses and yucking it up with our crew...

Thanks for the info! Also, since there is an entry on the ICSCC webpage for the event, they will presumably post the results... at some point.

If anyone knows those names well enough to match them to a car description, that would be awesome :)
I'm not "in" enough to know the drivers by name :(

Do the eta cars have a choice? :D

That car was out there last year as well, and did pretty good if I recall.

For those interested, the MotorsportReg list of entries can be found here. Though there are only 20 listed, and I heard that 23 were originally signed up (though fewer showed up at the track).

The eta is Eric Blois (sp?) car. He drives it to the track....and back home.
I love the durability of the miata motors. 8 hours of shifting at the rev limiter!

Going off the pix on the first page:

Overall win and E1 is the #15 Porsche (White/Rogers/Blaylock)

L1 winner: Blois' Black and Yellow E30 #92 (he has his grill painted yellow, can't miss it - also he runs an eta motor, so he doesn't normally run Pro-3)

L2 winner: DCR, and they were running Bob's white E30 (#161)

Not sure what Hugh was driving, and as for the Miate - who really cares, they all look the same.
