I have bought a couple of fuel pump kits for my cars (318i and 325es) from TREperformance and I have been very happy with them and with the service I got from the company. You might consider it as an option. Also, it's way less expensive than a replacement pump. Just thought I'd let you know. Good luck.

ok so i got an e36 325i fuel pump because thats the only one that was there its a little bigger. my question is: will i be ok running it in my 318i m42, i mean the car started up and runs but i dont want it blow up on me
