    Vale adjusting & Tps adjustment

Hello folks my names william. I live iin the beaverton area and im trying to adjust my valves correctly and was wondering if anyone out there in the pdx area has the bmw spring valve adjustment tool they might want to lend me for a day or two. Also wondering if anyone out there has ever adjusted the tps to raise or lower the idle correctly that could give me a complete run down on how to do it correctly.

I use a small allen wrench to adjust the eccentric. Generally, you shouldn't mess with the tps. Have you checked the throttle cable adjustment? Vacuum leaked can also cause the idle to be high/low or erratic.

Also, you may do a quick check of the ICV (Idle Control Valve), it could need a little cleaning if it's all choked with buildup..
