    wtb m42 timing stuff

    m42 timing stuff
Im not looking used adn Ive been to all the places, blunt, pelican, etc and know the prices of new, but was just thinking if anyone out there might have bought the stuff new, and is now not using/installing it and wants to get rid of it at a good price...than let me know as I will need to chase it all down in the next few weeks
car is parked now and I have other wheels, so not a giant hurry
but my 318ic gets/got a whole lot better milage, adn a whole lot more fun to drive then my 93 chevy truck and now its too wet and cold for my motocycle

Im "between jobs" so $$$ are kind of an issue

oh and hey..why cant a new bearing be presssed into an idler gear if the teeth are good as I can not imagine why that one is critical to have great teeth, and I have three to choose from, one with less than 60k

and the reason IM not looking for more used stuff, is the long fixed timing rail with less than 30k ( new at time)on it went. cheap me...when I was in there I only replaced that rail and the tensioner while I was doing a head gasket. the long rail probabally went because the chain got sloppy

I can trade some parts...tranny that goes behind a1991 m42, a diff out of a 318is but its not lsd ( someone told me all 91 318i's had limited slip, but not this one)

    thanks

    josh
