Cheap rim solution for Black Friday

If you are like me, and needing some cheap rims, or just need something new for your whip.

Discount Tire I found is doing a Black Friday sale on ALL tires and wheels. For instance, I found a set up rims that were on sale on line already (through Discount Tire Direct) for $79 a rim, and then you can stack the $40 off.

    What's this mean?

Mo Money, Mo Money, Mo Money!

Here's a hint if you are looking for rim's: do a search for a mid-90's Miata and use the plus sizing of the wheels. It opens your options up a ton, and they send the inserts for the hub free of charge. That's what I did before for my Konig Rewinds, and they fit perfect!

I am planning on hitting them up for some cheap 15's for the beast.

Sears is also having some black friday deals for tires, especially Goodyears. If I were to get some tires for my 14" weaves, what is the recommended all-season tire that works well in the PNW? (ie: strong performance in the rain)

I put Falken 512's on all my vehicles, I like how they handle the rain, and they are cheap.

djjerme thanks for point this sale out, I just called my local store and pre ordered a set of tires I have been planning on buying

The 912s are the updated version of the 512, but I've read that they don't last as long. What kind of mileage are you getting out of your 512s?

My Dunlop DZ101's do awesome in the rain and they're more of a street tire rather then all season. $80 p/ tire. I've got about 5k on them and they're like new still.

I am very confused by this statement. The only conclusion I can make from it is that you did not take friends with you to get your intake manifold powdercoated, you now have a boyfriend "bf" and it's a gentle slide? This is about tires, not sure if this is where you want to post this "news."

The only car I have had them on long enough to find out was my old MKV VW, they were fine after a year and a half, but they had started to develop some significant camber wear in the rear haha
