congrats dude, excellent choice for sure. You also made a good choice on the 3.2L motor. It is a pretty safe motor with no serious known issues..treat it good and itll last for alot longer than 100k Im not sure if they've addressed the problem but a common known issue are the ball joints on the control arms and tie rods tend to crack around 70-100k. Thankfully there are several vendors out there that offer an upgrade kit with some HD joints and bushings. Other than that, just make sure you do a drain and filter change on the trans every 70k(will need a vag-com if youre gonna do it yourself)
I just picked up a silver C5 A6 avant myself for the family dd..definitely a comfortable car to drive...especially the heated seats at this time of year!
enjoy it!Leave a comment:

That is a sweet car. I love the B7? Body style, the front grilles are nice and aggressive. I say bag it on Rotiforms ;)Leave a comment:

So I bought an Audi today....
Just traded in the Fiancee's PT Cruiser on an 07 Audi A4 Avant 3.2l V-6.
First off let me say I hated the PT.
Second I don't know anything about Audi's.
Third I can't believe I didn't get another BMW.
So now for some of the details on this new car. It has the Cold Weather Package and Technology Package. Was a 1 owner, who meticulously maintained it at University Audi in Lynwood. It does have 104k miles but it's really clean for that high.
As I said earlier, I don't know anything about Audi's so help me out and tell me what to look for on this alien of a car to me.
I'll get pictures up when I can.Tags: None
