    2001 Z3 3.0i manual Roadster

Selling my baby, only to upgrade to an M. Classic Titanium Silver Metallic finish over Black Leather upholstery -- I've had my Z3 for about a year and a half now, and it has been my pride and joy. It's my third BMW, and I'm an enthusiast through and through. I work for BMW of Portland, and it has been exclusively maintained there during my ownership. I wash the car obsessively, change the fluids obsessively, and maintain it obsessively - if you're looking for a Z3 that's been loved, this is it. I take exceptional care of my cars. Most recent services include fluids change, convertible top adjustment (no leaks whatsoever), alignment, water pump, thermostat, fan belt, cam position sensor, and the ever-important Z3 rear subframe reinforcement, to name a few. A $1,700 service, the subframe reinforcement is incredibly important. The rear subframe is the Z3's Achilles heel, and over time, the diff will cause separation of the subframe and body -- I caught it before any issues developed, and did the service as a preventative measure. I have almost all service records for the vehicle, even including the BMW Certified Pre-Owned inspection check sheet from when it was sold to its second owner. This car was under warranty for the first six years of its life.

I have a clean Carfax on hand; by my count (and the gentleman I purchased it from), I'm the third owner. I'd be happy to furnish this upon request. It grew up in California, and then migrated to Washington in '05, whereupon BMW of Seattle became its caretaker. The odometer currently reads just over 132,000 miles. My Z has the Premium Package, Sport Package and the Cold Weather Package (Heated Seats). It comes with the stock staggered Style 42 Sport wheels with new rear tires, and about 70% tread left up front. It's equipped with the premium Harman/Kardon AM/FM/CD Stereo. It's a 5-Speed, matched to the 225hp 3.0L. The only aftermarket upgrades I've had done are HID Headlights and a set a of H&R performance springs. I'd be happy to provide the VIN upon request; just shoot me an email or call. I'm asking just under $11,000, but I'd be willing to cut an amazing deal to the right person -- I'd really like to see it go to someone who will love it like I have.

Here are 50+ pictures inside and out - if you'd like to see anything in greater detail, just let me know and I'll gladly snap a photo for you:

          Fantastic looking car in person.

Eric, I used the 3M kit on the headlight covers on my e39 and they look nearly new now. A big aesthetic return-on-investment for the $20 kit.

Thanks Ken. It's appreciated when other people comment on it, for those who have not seen it in person.

About two months ago I did a four stage wet sand, then polish, and then a sealant on them. I think the pictures in the album I created captures how clear they are. Well worth the money and effort.

Bumping for pictures, so I don't forget them in the future. I'll be selling this for school in the some what near future.

Haha not a clue. I stopped bumping it because I didn't want to get rid of a completely reliable car, and jump into something I wasn't too sure of. However, the price will most likely go up since Spring and Summer is right around the corner. It's a total blast to drive, and I don't want to get rid of it..but priorities are priorities.

I'd be interested in an '87 325iS as a partial trade. No late models. And I'm kind of picky on the next E30 I get.

Just for the fact you said "No late models" you are getting a bump.

In all seriousness, it's a beautiful car!! Good luck with the sale.
