    Deutchland bound

So I just bought my plane ticket to Stuttgart. Flying out March 30th an coming back July 19th. Studying abroad in Tubingen. Hoping for some crazy German fun and traveling around the whole country. I will try to squeeze in a couple trips to the Nordschleife. Hoping to hit up a few German R3v members while I am over there. I will eventually create a photo/general travel madness once I am over there!
    Cheers

You need to do your due diligence and send home lots of euro parts! I'll pay for stuff if you can find a good deal on shipping :)

You're more likely to find euro parts in the US haha. I've been to Munich twice in the past two years and saw like four e30s in three weeks.

Go to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, and pay the extra couple euros for the audio guide. I spent like four hours there when I went a couple years ago... absolutely incredible.

Take the train to Munich as often as you can afford to. Early morning and late night travels are pretty inexpensive.

Ken, good point, but shit is much much cheaper there.

Congrats and have fun. I'll be Europe/Germany bound in July for a couple of months. You'll have to let me know the hopping places to visit in Germany.

Shipping could be an option though I have no idea on that. I wonder if I could hook up with fast325i an get some goodies! Ken, in the program we will spend two days in Stuttgart seeing museums and whatnot. Looking forward to the Porsche and Merc tours!

I'll wait for the couple German natives to chime in on the availability of parts, but I wouldn't waste your time trying to dig around rusty yards there.

You'll love the Porsche museum. It's unbelievable. The automotive history is palpable.

Do you get any free time to travel on your own while you're there? I've been a couple times in the last two years (mostly for Oktoberfest). Hit me up if you want any tips/advice.

I'm envious. Shoot me a PM if you want some fun things to do. I'm more familiar with Munich.
