My new project for the E30

Picked up a set of 17" style 5's.

The pic is one with the clear removed and just polished lip. Im in the process of sanding them for final polish. Still waiting on my friend to weld in the holes for me so I can re drill. Spacers are on order. bolts are polished and about to get clear coated (all 136 hand polished lol). I still need to decide on a final color for the centers. Ideas?

Im thinking white to match but I don't know for sure. Would be a %*$# to clean.

Nice man! I'm glad you were able to get a set. Yours are sure looking better then mine at this point. Lol. I really have no desire to refinish a second set of wheels, so they'll be sent out at some point in the next month or so.

Nice man! I'm glad you were able to get a set. Yours are sure looking better then mine at this point. Lol. I really have no desire to refinish a second set of wheels, so they'll be sent out at some point in the next month or so.

Yeah I went gung ho on them right when I got em. Being a machinist helps. I polished the bolts etc at work between everything else I have going on. Im in a holding pattern now because my buddy who welds for me is super busy. As soon as he get to them I'll be drilling them and test fitting with spacers etc then off to paint. Im just anxious to get them on.

Nice. I work in a machine shop part time, so it's been cool to be able to get to work on my own shit occasionally. I'm still stripping my Ronals down. I don't think they'll ever get done :rofl:

Yeah while I'm having fun with these, I wouldnt want to do it all the time. After polishing all the bolts, I had a blister and a cramp in my arm lol.
