        You can make e36 heater seats work. The only difference is the e36 switches have some solid state stuff inside of them to manage the voltage going to the seat. Versus the e30 switches which are just simple switches with no fancy electronics.

        I've seen IS's with optional heated seats. I've seen several IX's with them as well.

        If you do factory e30 stuff the harness will just plug in, so run the wires, install 2 switches, and toss the seats in.

                                                        What is it doing? We have a ton of Mac users on the forum and I have not heard of any issues.

                                                        I don't have a mac to test on but I did install Safari and it works fine.
