Scam Alert - E30 Laguna Vert

I went out and took a look at this car:

Which, if you look at the flaws, matches this car exactly.

And here's the kicker, the head gasket is done. Both the oil and the coolant look like a vanilla milkshake. The seller knows it and will try and lie about it. Once I found it, he offered to "have that little gasket replaced for $100"

    Just an FYI. :cockbloc:

Yeah I called the number on the ad selling it for $2000 by Alpha Motors LLC, it's the same VIN as the $4k ad being sold by Austin's Affordable Autos.

Something weird is definitely going on, and whats with the 4k ad saying there is a 24v swapped in?

    edit.
ah I see, AAA sold to AM LLC through auction- It's not actually a scam but AM LLC knows there is a blown gasket and they are douchebags for not mentioning it. Not a scam though- how is the car in other areas non engine?

That's what I thought. But, AAA just re-listed it on CL yesterday. I drove the car at AM's lot 5 days ago.

          The finer details:

          Bad
          • Hood is creased down over the kidneys
          • Kidneys are barely attached if at all. Probably just the bent hood holding it in place
          • Clear coat is peeling on the trunk and hood
          • Long key mark down the driver's side
          • CD changer is missing CD cartridge
          • Paint is flaking off the bumper and you can see blue paint peeking out.
          • Transmission has a clunk when shifting
          • Automatic top does not work (only the lid opens and closes)
          • Rock chip that needs to be filled in the center of the windsheild
          • Top of the rear seats are very discolored and dry from sun damage
          • Missing a wheel center cap
          • Needs new rear tires
          • Lifters were very loud, probably a milkshake symptom.

          Good
          • The top is new and the interior was very dry and had no smell of mildew even after seeing it after a weekend of rain
          • Front seats were in 7.5 out of 10 shape
          • The body was pretty straight overall
