Justice. I love R3v and for the record, I am not choosing sides nor do I have beef with anyone.

The core issue here is that taking a large steaming shit in someone's FS thread is quite simply AGAINST THE FORUM RULES, regardless of whether or not the seller intends to misrepresent the item for sale. I see this rule broken on a regular basis, even by moderators.

Also, I think it's everyone's responsibility to maintain a high level of integrity and honesty about both FS items and the information they contribute to the forum in order to ensure that it remains a valuable resource to the e30 community.

      Sincerely yours,
      Dad

And if Vortex is such a superb to R3v, why are you here?
I have also met some great people from R3V. But a majority of the E30/BMW community sucks. Its sad buts its true. The entire atmosphere on R3V in general is negative. How many threads do you see about crapping on people, products, or ideas? And Vortex isn't much better. People would agree the Tex is a cesspit. R3V is just one step below that.

Good luck. You're going to need it.

Bingo. How can you expect the members to follow the rules when the mods don't? There needs to be a complete overhaul but there won't be. There is a lot of immaturity here and I am sick of it. I'm out.

I was trying to stay out of this thread, but this is all so accurate I had to quote and agree with it

It's about time. A lot of people get all worked up over nothing. It's the internet. Stop being so immature and childish about it. I hope you actually do something about this nonsense that is going on, Jason. From being here for the past couple of years, and reading your posts from time to time, I have no doubt in my mind that there actually WILL be change.

The man with the 24 inch DUB wheels speaks the truth. If R3v is soooooo horrible then GTFO.

Ok usually I stay out of forum drama but this is a personal friend of mine I made from this site. Fuck you Matt. You really must not know the kind of person is if you honestly think he would rip someone off. Hes a stand up guy and I knew this the first day I met him. He will NOT do you wrong. I cant believe you would come in here and shit on his thread. You should have PM'd him instead. I have only talked to you like twice in person and you seemed alright. But from what I have read about your "business practices" and your immature behavior shows otherwise. You are shady and down right fucking rude. Get the hell out of here.

Austin, dont pay his dumb ass any attention. You can market your car elsewhere.

Yeah i like r3v with its ruff egdes but there is just a point where it just goes to far. We need to keep a happy medium here. Cause we can't take all the fun out of here, cause its one of the reasons why i stuck around. People don't really sugar coat what they are thinking. Some are tastefull about it. But others are not. This here was a for sale thread that got crapped all over. Im not gonna put up with that. But like i said ill look into what all is going on here after i get off work and get some sleep. And the pm's ive got im not going to reply as of yet, but i have read them. So your voice isnt going unheard.

Damn. Sad to see something like this happen. Even though it happens everyday here on R3V. It seems like in the Member Rides Forum there is always a "hater" in the threads. No one wants to recieve negative feedback about their car. Especially if someone puts a good amount of hours and money into a project and wanted to post up their handiwork for guys to see and possibly give ideas. Just my opinion.

                          Austin, glws man.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It really does mean a lot. While every forum has it's issues and such, I have really enjoyed spending a better portion of my life here in the past year. I've met a lot of cool people and had a lot of fun. I have no intention of going anywhere.

Car is officially off the market (obviously.) The car I wanted is no longer for sale, so I will be keeping this. We'll see what happens to it in the next couple months.

The "haters" are kind of a norm around here. Some may call it hating, but alot of them are just telling the truth and they're just plain blunt about it. I've done it myself. If you want an honest anwser, people will tell you, some maybe a little harsh about it! But we need to keep this out of for sale threads. The main offender is in time out, i dont know him, but i know the past of him on here. He seemed to be straightening up but then this here happened... I looked at his GB thing and what happened. Looks like a family emergancy? But i dont know why he never said anything to what happened and why people waited so long. I'm going to start looking through the FS section more often and start to put people in time out for crapping in those threads.

Another thing, we may have the bluntness that r3v is known for. But i'm going to start to take note to who all is being over the hill on it so to say. Basicly if i see that person following another around the forum harrassing that said person for no reason, i will step in then. We have alot of new guys on here as of lately, and a few i had to wonder what they are thinking lol. But i'm willing to give anyone a chance to see where they are going.
