    What kind of media do you use for sandblasting?

      Thats a good question carter_22. I would use 80 grit glass bead media for a natural aluminium finish.

          well theres walnut but its not abrassive enough for a proper finish.

            hmm thanks, GLWS. I'll keep you in mind if I ever need to sand blast an entire engine or something!

                Bad idea. All those little particles will essentially ruin an engine. You would let it cook in a hot tank over a weekend and have it looking awesome.
