    Beater 5-spd for loan?

My GF doesn't know how to drive stick and would really like to learn. Only trouble is, my 335ic is hard as fuck to learn on. Does anyone have a beater 325e or I they'd be willing to let a newbie learn on? I'll pay you in beers.

easiest car to learn on is Jeep Wrangler 4.0. that's how i taught my gf. gobs of torque. gearing to crawl at low speeds.

          Toyota Tacoma.
Even the IQ impaired can learn on that.

If you were closer, I've got a little Isuzu pickup that is perfect to learn on. But alas, you're a long ways away.

She won't even get out of first gear by the time she gets to the edge of the kitchen.

Just make her learn on the m30 car. It is better to learn on a car that is difficult... if she gets that down then she'll be able to drive pretty much any manual car.

I agree. I dont even see how it could be hard unless you have a 5lb flywheel and a unsprung clutch. plus m30's make torque and you could basicly just let off the clutch slowly giving it no gas and it wont stall.

It's not more difficult that a normal e30, but he probably has $25k into the car and the engine needs to be lifted out to replace th clutch disc.

                            ^all valid points

It really is hard though. The clutch is pretty heavy, the gearshift is notchy and it's so low to the ground that if she ever pops the clutch and hits a curb, I'm out thousands to fix it :(

Go down to Airport Way on an early Saturday morning, find a huge warehouse parking lot and let her have at it ;)
