I think I wrote down my experience finding the body parts in the no cal area of this forum.
Probably helpful to someone somewhere looking for body parts as a guideline.... way more picknpulls in northern california than portland...
I found another 89 convertible with no front end damage... it looks great other than some hood misalignment I never fixed.

ya well I was so serious about it I was going to keep going til I found it.

So I got a list of all the picknpulls with red fenders in northern california.

So I had a I dont know, 800 mile road trip ahead of me possibly. But found the right parts at the 4th stop.

I mean it was good but it wasnt like a miracle is all Im saying. I literally drove 350 miles away.

they list calypso and a few other colors as red. I dont have a feel for the amount of e30s in junkyards up here yet, but I doubt what I did would even be an option.

ask some of the regulars here how they get body parts for their cars and they start drooling and their eyes glaze. I think that was my point a year ago.

Every once in a while I get an email for a rideshare post from craigslist.... from 2 months ago.

theres like a strange tangent people are on between using search and not knowing that all posts are date stamped. And search pulls up the posts out of order..... I mean I understand kind of.

If you were like freebasing mushrooms or something like that you wouldnt really understand that the posts that came up in your search are actually from last year.....

Dont ask me Ive never been there but it happens at the weirdest times.
