Per PRO-3 rules, it has to be a M20B25 (I'm assuming this is going in James' PRO-3 car.)

Correct. After dropping oil pressure on my last race motor I want something quick to drop in for testing at the Ridge on the 17th.

I found a block in my collection I forgot about, so I may just rering / change the bearings on that.. however if a low(ish) mileage example shows up I may cheat.

just looking for the lowerend + head.. Don't need any accessories, DME, pan, or any of that stuff.

Would 150k be considered low mileage

yeah 150k is good.,. my last motor had ~140k and assuming the compression is decent i'd be interested.

I have one, i pulled out of my 88 325is, it had 217k, ran perfect, i have videos, almost done with my S50 swap...

Edit: didnt read your comment that you want only head and block..[ i have full engine, 5sp tranny] would wanna sell as a package, and im guessing your looking for something cheaper,...

Little high @ 217k but if compression is good and no oil consumption i'd be interested.

In terms of the package, my only issue is I have soo much of that stuff already its just more to sit around.

                          James,

I have one out of a car I bought from Austin!. Odo shows 288k but the motor has been rebuilt at some time and ran well until I robbed the injectors from it. Head shows a recentish rebuild. You're welcome to come take a look at it... I have a S50 I need to swap in anyway.

Dan, were you able to get it running better then when it did when it left my shop?

Yeah, three or 4 valves were way too tight. Set everything to spec and it runs great lol
