    im actually daydreaming about this all the time i hope it takes off.

    especially during the summer for my vert. I lived in portland all last summer and never went to the beach once.

    hmm I've never been this way, I've always gone the hwy101 way and it puts you inland too much, quite a boring drive.

    What what ejnight posted looks good. The Alsea Highway 34 looks really awesome, but it's soooo far away!!

    I vote NO for the weekend of May 26th. It's my moms birthday that weekend.

    The Pelican is kiddy safe, and a cool place to eat. Could even go climb the giant sand dune to work up your appetite

    That actually sounds pretty good. Only thing is the pub. Some members might be under 21. Not sure if that place has a kiddy side.
