Well, thanks for the nice response. I agree. I just don't want to be seen with those people who do immature shit like that in front of people and in populated places. It is fuckin' fun to tear it up on those back-roads, but I'm not about to go 90+ mph on them. And it also kinda sucks to have someone tailing you... ;)
I'll give the beach cruise a try.

Nah. I try not to run through stop signs. It is a nice open country road, I don't see why we can't tear it up a little.
Honestly, I really didn't find it that big of a deal. The people who do stupid shit will get caught (myself included, I've had my fair share of tickets and such) and hopefully learn from their mistakes. Live and learn, you know?Leave a comment:

Ah yes, I felt like you were tailing me a lot of the time as we were driving on those back roads. But I bet that you felt like the people behind you were tailing you... The drive was fun, but it just felt like everyone wanted to race and show off like how fast they could go... I think you were also one of the ones who sped right through the stop sign at the top of Germantown Road, right? I fuckin' hate that, just because we are in a big car club group doesn't mean that everyone can act like immature ricer fuckheads.Leave a comment:

I remember that drive. I rather enjoyed it. Nice way to spend a Saturday.Leave a comment:

I hope this beach drive doesn't turn out like that last time I went on a drive near Hillsboro/HWY 30 where a bunch of e30 guys were running stop signs and peeling out right in front of onlookers, acting like shitheads, making e30 people look bad. I hate that man. If you want to do that shit, do it where there aren't other cars/people around.
I was very unimpressed with some of the local e30 owners here, so hopefully this one will be better.Leave a comment:

I wanted to see the pacific ocean like a good pnw newb so I drove out there in August by myself. My boss recommended I check out smuggler's cove, so I went out through the forest on hwy 6 to tillamook, up 101 and back on 26. It was beautiful along those parts of the coast, some great outlook pulloff spots. I'll post a pic when I'm back in pdx at my computerLeave a comment:
