    Finished M42 swap misfiring

I just finished putting my semi-built M42 into my friends 318 and it's misfiring pretty bad, it's not an irregular misfire at all. It sounds like a subaru now and lost all its power. Any suggestions?? Also my imbred friend who was trying to help pushed in the clutch while I had the engine out and destroyed the slave cyl  So I put a new slave cyl in but now I can't bleed the clutch AT ALL! It's obviously full of brake fluid so I'm not sure what to do. Is there any way the master could've also been destroyed? Any suggestions hugely appreciated cause I gotta get this thing off my street asap 2 cops have already come and threatened me with some bs for working in the street :drink:

Check for vacuum leaks? Check the order of the plug wires? Is it timed correctly?

Check plug wires, compression, vacuum leaks, etc.

Edit-- damn you Steven. Beat me to it.

Make sure the plug wires are in correctly. remove them and install again.

Or vacuum leaks...i've encountered both...if it's vacuum leaks, its a big improvement doing the mess-under-intake mod to remove a bunch of hoses and geti it running efficienctly.

It has a coil on plug kit and I'm positive they are all in right already screwed around with that. I know the timing isn't off cause I had in my car running awesome right before I put it in his. Also there are absolutely no vacuum leaks and all the hoses are hooked up right, positive i went over them a million (like 5) times.

                Time to check compression.

Pull the plug wires off of the coils one at a time until you find the dead hole, then pull that plug and check for fuel/spark, then compression test.
