I'll add to the shout-out. Lack of time and a place to do the work myself, I went to Steven for a brake job, compression test, and valve adjustment. Great service from a nice guy.

Happy to say that the ticking is gone and even more important, the new brakes saved my car and probably my fat old ass just a few miles from Vintage European this evening. I was coming down a hill in the rain and an idiot on a bike cut in front of a Subaru, who had to slam on their brakes. I mashed the pedal and gave the iX a solid brake test right there, and it stayed true and controlled. Scared the living shit out of me.

Thanks, Steven. Had I still been running the old brakes, I'd be parting out my previously pretty car next week.
