    Thoughts anyone?

Wiper fluid keeps randomly coming on. Three times all on the freeway in the pouring rain. Usually could just shut off the wipers and it will stop. Tonight wouldn't shut off for about 4 minutes long after the fluid ran out? Any thoughts?

I'm willing to bet money that a spare fuse has found its way under the wiper relay in the fuse box. this has happened to me numerous times.

You mean it sprays or the fluid level warning light comes on?

These cars have some quirky electronics sometimes. One day my windshield washers (and wipers) came on by themselves. Went off when I went over a bump. Then came back on and would not go off until I pulled the fuse.

Investigation resulted in me determining that if I grabbed the wiring harness just aft of the fuse box (in the engine bay) I could effect the fault. Unwrapped the harness thinking I was going to find worn insulation / shorting. Wrong. No visible indication of fault. I fixed nothing. Wrapped the harness back up and it has never happened again. Been two years now.

Good luck with it. Let us know what you find.
