I don't see it as part of the business because the business of bars doesn't typically include cover. plenty of bars make it without them, dare I say 95% of bars get by without covers. On fri/sat night when there are tons of people and they're already making a killing on booze, they just sweeten the pot a bit by making you pay even more at the door. the concept just reminds me how much I hate businessmen.

Fremont is fine by me. I know sometimes they make it down to the ballroom, red door, and 9 million.


Also, I do not plan on drinking liquor. I established this rule because of the last R3V night out (if you were there and remember how fun Sunday was, you know why). Beer only for me.

There's a ton of bars on Ballard ave that we could try, although it's not going to be all dance-crazy like fremont will.
