    According to Craigslist....

I could sell my alpine on cardinal vert in very very good condition for upwards of 4500?

It only has 120k on it...

    Ex.

(I call BS on rebuilt engine with this one)

What should i price mine at.

3 owner, 2nd owner didnt drive it, it sat, i brought it home and spend 2.4k on it. 120k milesand only minor issues (rattling blower motor, o2 sensor, coolant sensor, missing antenna).

Ill post pics if it helps, i just want a 318/325is coupe or 325ix sedan now, convertibles are not my thing.

(that white patch on the seat is excess leather lotion... lol i fail comes right off tho, not permanant)

It looks nice on the beach doesn't it ^.

    Whats a Good price?

Not sure on your region but I've seen really clean 'verts sell as high as $7k here in the southeast. (not on craigslist though) ;)

Now is the time of the year to sell your vert if you want top dollar. Next month even more so. As soon as there is at least a week of sunny. warm days you can expect the demand to jump.

I'd guess that $6-7k for a well-sorted vert would be reasonable. My friend in Sacramento just sold his 9.5 out of 10 1991 318ic for $7k. The buyer flew down from Seattle to buy it.

The old saying is true, if you build it.....

If thats the case anyone interested in a 1987 325ic with only 120k on it? 4500-5k is what im thinking.

Sold for $9800 (much cleaner then yours though and lower mileage)

                1989 e30 vert 44k CLEAN

                Sold for $5.5k
                1989 e30 vert 80k also clean

After seeing your pics I'd say $4500 may be closer to what you should shoot for as a goal due to the condition of the interior. e30s that pull top dollar generally have factory fresh interiors, and are otherwise in need of nothing mechanically.

I had no problem when mine was appraised for insurance purposes last fall finding very clean stock 'verts that had sold over the summer for $8-10k. Mine ended up being appraised for more then the rough e30 m3 parked next to it. :)

Funny how that works in the soggy NW, first bit of sun and it's "SUMMER, OMG NEED A CONVERTIBLE!"

For the opposite of that, our two verts were bought in the fall, best time to buy ;)

Why is your HVAC panel falling off tho, and the interior color seems wrong, but that does look nice.

It's under very bright florescent lighting, and I was installing a radio at the time when my wife came out to the garage to surprise me with some new driving shoes she had bought me for my birthday!

The white balance is better in this pic. :)

Right now is the time to sell convertibles.

Tax returns are hitting now and the sun is coming out.

I would invest in either some dye or conditioner for the interior. Id throw it out there asap because itll take a while to sell.

                        ask for 5k even.

and yes convertibles go for the most in rainy places. Theres just less supply for the same demand.

Bimmer, get your woman to buy me some of those shoes lol. If I sell my vert ill make sure to save some cash. I need better shoes for driving, my feet rub against the plastic under my dash. Dumb small euro cars lol.

Clean verts are worth a pretty penny, but lately I had seen several sold for much less than they are worth. All depends on who is ready to buy when you are ready to sell
