    WTB: M42 engine

I just bought a 1991 318is. The engine is toast. Far as I can tell, the head is fine, but the block has some bearing/seizing issue. So, if anything, I'm in need of a short block, but will entertain complete engines as well.

Please let me know what you've got or sources to look into.

    Thanks!

    Chris

Not sure if any of yall saw it on CL today, this is the car.

Not gonna lie, its one of the cleanest (minus the fender) e30's I've ever seen. the interior, paint, everything is tits. Crack free dash, factory black shadow trim, black interior, grey carpet, perfect sport seats, carpet looks brand new, no rust anywhere. Has 6 borbet wheels, 4 on car and 2 spares. Garaged for past 3 years, unreal.

agreed, but I've already got a rather built euro car that is rapidly becoming a track-only affair...and a pro3 car. I've got enough entertainment between those that I'm actually excited for a stock bushing underpowered grocery gitter.
