moulding clip replacement 318i

Got my trim clips for all of the protective side moulding strip parts from Blunt. Cannot figure out how they are inserted into the rails on the inside of the strips. Any help or a pic of how they are inserted would help me tremendously. the oem diagrams just confused me more. thanks, mike

body trim moulding clips

Finally figured it out. The clips go into the body panel, push the pin in to secure them, line up the permanent bolt with the body panel hole and whack them on. I had it backwards of course. lol

That you did. It's pretty easy once you figure it out too. Just be careful you don't snap any of the plastic pieces. They tend to give easy. Good luck.
