I had this happen to a gorgeous project car as well. Totally sucks. You should definitely buy it back, then tube the front end

I always hate seeing these threads...glad you are ok though. I have had the same thing happen with my belt a few times, and I have been lucky enough to catch it.

Just went through this myself... Totaled mine about a month ago, (rear-ender, doors back and motor are still good) and to give you some insight on buyback value. My car had been rebuilt within 10k miles, excellent interior, and pretty much a flawless unmolested body. In short, it was a very very nice daily driven completely stock 1987is...
They valued it at $4200 and the buyback was $400... its currently sitting in my garage, waiting to be stripped. The interior was just sold for $750 so I am already in the black.
That being said. Everything else is still available.

I did feel a strong disturbance in the E30 Force yesterday... sorry to see.

I'm really sorry about your accident. I'm glad you are fine, go where the car is located and get the stuff you need out now. (if you don't buy it back) I did that with my E36. I replaced aftermarket wheels with stock, seats, etc...
Insurance company will not cover that so it's only fair.
Talk to you later Jordan.

Glad to hear your ok at least. And yes buy her back then strip her and sell everything. You'll probably make what enough back for it to be worth it.
Good Luck!

I'm hoping that I can just get my hands on it so I can pull the stuff like side skirts, mtech spoiler, rear euro trim, heated e36 m3 sports mtech wheel etc. Not sure if I'll get another e30 to put the parts on or just sell them off and move on (for now) to something newer and more comfortable for commuting.

It can be rebuilt, faster and better! You're alive that's the important thing, I say keep it if you can or you'll regret it.
